[CFP] New Insights on Plagues and Epidemics in the Medieval and Early Modern Eras

“It Spread Without Stop”: New Insights on Plagues and Epidemics in the Medieval and Early Modern Eras conference at the Scuola Grande di San Marco (Venice) on February 19–21, 2021.

This conference will bring together academics and researchers from around the world to present current research on all aspects of epidemics in the Medieval and Early Modern periods (ca. 500-1800 C.E.) including:

  • Identification of historical epidemics
  • Contemporary and historical medical approaches
  • Effects of epidemics on historical populations
  • Social and cultural reactions to disease
